Hazards and risks deriving from storage and use
of chemical products
In our society, chemicals are widespread both in our homes and in the workplace.
IT IS THEREFORE VERY IMPORTANT:
- Learn to read chemical product labels AND KNOW THEIR PICTOGRAMS OR DANGER SYMBOLS.
- Know how to adopt behaviors and procedures for using dangerous chemical products that allow accidents and illnesses to be prevented in all environments. It is not enough to learn to work but it is necessary to learn to work well and safely.
- Acquire the belief that risks, if they cannot always be completely eliminated, can still be controlled and minimized.
- Learn to identify the risks deriving from the storage and use of chemical substances.
- Realize that risks can only be reduced if we are able to identify them first.
